Public Works Consulting

Public Works collaborates closely with partners Mark Foggin and Scott Zucker:

Mark Foggin
Mark Foggin spent more than 12 years in New York City government before leaving the administration of Mayor Michael Bloomberg in 2007 to pursue consulting projects with public interest organizations in both the government and non-profit sectors. Mark’s assignments have largely focused on helping organizations plan for and launch new initiatives—especially those that require collaborations with other organizations, or across different parts of large organizations. From 2005-2007, Mark served as the deputy director of New York City’s Mayor’s Office of Industrial & Manufacturing Businesses where he was responsible for launching this new office. He also worked for the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Office of Emergency Management, and the Parks Department (as an Urban Fellow). Mark received his MPA from New York University's Robert F. Wagner School for Public Service in 2001. Mark studied urban planning as an undergraduate at Hunter College. A continual student of New York, Mark has lived in every borough except the Bronx and routinely leads walking tours of the City’s more out-of-the-way neighborhoods.

Scott Zucker, Scott Zucker Consulting LLC

The consultancy is led by Scott Zucker who previously served as the Deputy Commissioner for Workforce Development at the NYC Department of Small Business Services, where he led the $83 million workforce development system that made over 17,000 job placements annually.
